DINNERS WITH ANTEATERS: CONNECTING STUDENTS WITH ALUMNI
Program Description:
Dinners with Anteaters is a program that connects students with alumni, staff or faculty for a fun evening of casual networking and advice sharing over a nice warm meal. In partnership with the Student Alumni Association and the UC Irvine Alumni Association, this program started in 2003 and has since become a long-lasting Anteater tradition.
New for 2025: Dinners with Anteaters will take place once per academic year during the weekend of Nov. 13, 14 and 15, allowing greater flexibility for both hosts and students to find a time that will work best for everyone.
Hosts are responsible for providing a complimentary meal for the students—either at their home or a local restaurant of their choice. We recommend that dinners take place within a five-mile radius of campus. Hosts can also select how many students they would like to host for dinner (minimum of three students).

HOST A STUDENT DINNER
You’ve graduated, built your career, experienced life and made it through successfully. Share what you’ve learned with young Anteaters by signing up as a dinner host for Dinners with Anteaters. Alumni, staff and faculty are invited to host!
This annual event takes place each November, and hosts can choose to hold their dinner on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evening. Hosts are responsible for providing a complimentary meal for the students—either at their home or a local restaurant of choice. We recommend that dinners be held within five miles of UC Irvine. Hosts may also select how many students they wish to host (minimum of three students).

Looking for a free dinner? Interested in finding a friendly mentor? Sign up to attend Dinners with Anteaters! Organized by the Student Alumni Association, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow Anteaters and gain helpful advice about UC Irvine, careers and life beyond college.
This annual event takes place in November, and students will be matched to a dinner based on their major, interests, or future goals. Transportation will be pre-arranged for all attendees if needed.
