Lauds & Laurels is the UC Irvine Alumni Association’s premier awards celebration, honoring alumni and community leaders whose achievements reflect the university’s excellence and impact. The event brings together the Anteater community to recognize distinguished contributions across professions, service and leadership.
Since 1971, the UC Irvine Alumni Association (UCIAA) and its board of directors has presented Lauds & Laurels, the association’s highest honor at the University of California, Irvine. Lauds & Laurels is one of the university’s oldest awards ceremony, a tradition that has recognized more than 900 members of the UC Irvine community for their service to the university, the community or their profession.
In its 55th year, Lauds & Laurels returns to campus with a reimagined experience at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. The evening features a theater-style awards presentation followed by a strolling dinner reception, bringing together the best of our Anteater community for a memorable celebration.
