UC Irvine Langson Museum | Hello Again

Meet UC Irvine’s art museum, and see works by faculty and alumni.

Painting of a person seated in a folding chair inside a small room, knitting near an open doorway. Sunlit cabins are visible outside, while a table with a lantern, a mug, and a basket add domestic details to the scene.

Event Details

UC Irvine Langson Orange County Museum of Art is located on the Segerstrom Center for the Arts campus in Costa Mesa, placing UC Irvine in the heart of Orange County’s arts district. The museum cares for more than 9,000 works of art, and admission is always free.

This fall, we’re opening Hello Again, the first exhibition of our newly combined collection, featuring more than a century of California art. You’ll find works by artists with deep UC Irvine roots, including faculty Vija Celmins, John Mason, and Ed Bereal; alumna Alexis Smith B.A. ‘70, who studied with Celmins; former lecturer Andrea Bowers; and current faculty member Amanda Ross-Ho, among so many others.
